Chakra (A Poem from 'Savor Eternity...')

I only have one chakra.
The other seven were all in my head.
They came from reading books
and hearing esoteric rumors.
They vanished when I gave up
seeking.
But this one is sticky and sweet,
with a carnal fragrance
that makes me drunk
and simple-minded.
Who knows what it sprouts from?
Maybe something rooted down
in God's groin.
The seed certainly isn't in
my subtle body: I don't have one.
Aren’t all bodies the same
condensed breath of light?
This flesh of mine is just
a pollen speck
on the tip of a honey-kissed
golden stamen
in the flowering of Now.
